CEMS Fund Scholarship
Sponsor: Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship Fund
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to current residents of the state of Maryland who are high school juniors or seniors or currently attending an accredited Maryland post-secondary school. Applicant must be the first person in his/her immediate family who will be attending a Maryland accredited post-secondary school and studying (or planning to study) in the medical field.

CORE Que Llueva Café Scholarship
Sponsor: Chicano Organizing and Research in Education (CORE)
Amount: $500
Closing Date: February 25, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school, college bound, undocumented students of Chicano/Latino descent. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.

PAF’s Scholarships for Survivors
Sponsor: Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF)
Amount: $3,000 annually up to four consecutive years, as long as applicant meet the guidelines of the program
Closing Date: February 25, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher who are under the age of 25 and have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer, a chronic, or life threatening debilitating disease within the past five years.

Tesoro Youth Leadership Award
Sponsor: National Society of High School Scholars
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: February 26, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors graduating in 2017 who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of one of the 19 states where Tesoro does business. Applicant must also have a 3.0 GPA, financial need, and leadership experience.

Daniel J. Edelman/PRSSA Award for the Outstanding Public Relations Student
Sponsor: Public Relations Student Society of American
Amount: $1,500 and a three-month paid internship
Closing Date: February 27, 2017
Description: Award is open to PRSSA members who can demonstrate leadership, public relations-related achievements and activities, and a digital presence. Applicant must also have recommendations from public relations faculty and/or industry professionals.

Dr. Arnita Young Boswell Scholarship
Sponsor: National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc.
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 27, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to African-American graduating high school seniors with at least a 2.75 GPA. Applicant must be involved in school and community activities and must have completed at least 100 hours of documented community service.

Dr. Wynetta A. Frazier Scholarship
Sponsor: National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc.
Amount: $1,000

Description: Scholarship is open to African-American students who are at least 21 years of age and are accepted to a college or university. Applicant must demonstrate special talents gained through previous academic work, civic contributions, and/or social services.

Goldfish Tales Animation Xperience

Description: Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Applicant must create an animated video featuring Goldfish crackers that is up to 60 seconds in length.

Manualbirds Video Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students worldwide with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit a video on the theme, “How I Fixed a Machine or Product.”

Nikon Photo Contest

Description: Contest is open to everyone, professional and amateur photographers, regardless of nationality, age, and sex. Applicant must submit photography or video using a Nikon device.
