AMS Senior Named Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students entering their final year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2020 and are pursuing a degree in the atmospheric or related sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residence status and must have at least a 3.25 GPA.

CAWV Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Contractors Association of West Virginia
Amount: Up to $6,000
Closing Date: February 21, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to West Virginia residents who are college sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled, or planning to enroll, in civil engineering or a construction related four-year degree program in a West Virginia college or university.

CISCO Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to children of building trade union members and employees of union contractors. Applicant must be a high school senior who is a U.S. citizen and has been provisionally accepted as a full-time student into an undergraduate degree program at a two or four-year accredited college or university.

Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to residents of the counties of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Tyler and Wetzel in West Virginia and Jefferson and Belmont in Ohio. The majority of the scholarships are open to high school seniors, but there are some open to current college students and non-traditional students. ESA Scholarships for Children of First Responders

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in Nevada who have a father, mother, or natural guardian who is a first responder. This deadline is for Nevada students only. Students in Connecticut must apply by March 20; students in Wisconsin must apply by March 6; and all other students must apply by April 10.

Gateway to Research Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students who are enrolled full-time in a Pharm.D program or a Baccalaureate degree program and have completed at least one year of the degree program in an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. Applicant must be nominated by a faculty member.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are permanent residents of Iowa and plan to attend college in fall 2020. Applicant must complete two online financial literacy tutorials and a related online assessment.

SPJ High School Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to students enrolled in grades 9-12 in U.S. public, private, and home schools within the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on the topic, “During a presidential election cycle, how can local journalism help foster more civil discussion in communities around politics and democracy?”

FSF Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to current residents of the state of Maryland who are high school juniors or seniors or currently attending an accredited Maryland post-secondary school. First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Annual Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to members in good standing with the Association for at least three years prior to date of application. Applicant must also have a policy with the organization in his or her own name. Scholarships are open to students in grades 1-12, as well as college and graduate students. Richard and Louise Varco Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate, graduate or professional level study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Minnesota for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA OR be a worker displaced under extraordinary circumstances.

Description: Challenge is open to legal U.S. residents who are at least 13 years of age and are enrolled in grades 9-12 at a public, private or parochial school in the United States. Student must create a 30-60 second video that demonstrates the importance of safe teen driving.
