Study Abroad in Japan: Bridging Scholarship
Sponsor: American Association of Teachers of Japanese
Amount: Up to $4,500
Closing Date: April 16, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are planning to study abroad in Japan. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and must be enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university in the United States before and during the time they are studying abroad.

ACIS Travel is Education Scholarship
Sponsor: ACIS
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: April 30, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to students in grades 6 through 12 traveling on an ACIS tour from October 15, 2020 through October 14, 2021.

Athena Penny Scholarship
Sponsor: Athena Study Abroad
Amount: $250
Closing Date: May 1, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to students studying abroad at any of Athena’s campuses overseas. Applicant must be accepted into an Athena short-term, semester or year-long abroad program. Applicant must submit an essay on why he/she selected the specific program location.

Short-Term Service Scholarship
Sponsor: Athena Study Abroad
Amount: $400
Closing Date: May 1, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to students accepted into an Athena summer term study abroad program. Applicant must devote a day to a service project of his/her choosing and provide proof of service.

Corinne Jeannine Schillings Foundation Scholarships
Sponsor: Corinne Jeannine Schillings Foundation
Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: May 14, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate women who have attained the Girl Scout Silver or Gold Award. Applicant must be planning on studying abroad or studying a foreign language.

API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships
Sponsor: API Study Abroad
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: June 10, 2021
Description: Scholarships are open to API program participants. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements – see website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.
