International Student Scholarships

Scholarships open to international students who are are already studying in the United States or hoping to come to the U.S. for their college education.

Point Foundation Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college student who are “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community. There is no citizenship requirement, but applicant must be attending or planning to attend an institution in the United States.

Symptoma Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students internationally who are working while enrolled in their studies. Applicant must submit a completed online application.

VueVille Future Technology Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate and post-graduate students at accredited colleges or universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and India. Applicant must be pursuing a course or major in at least one of the following areas: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Studies, Business Studies, or Social Sciences. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to the internet.

BMI Student Composer Awards

Description: Award is open to citizens of a country in the Western Hemisphere who are enrolled in an accredited public, private, or parochial secondary school, in an accredited college or conservatory of music, or engaged in the private study of music with a recognized and established teacher. Applicant must have been born on or after February 2, 1989 and younger than 27 years of age. Applicant must submit one composition.

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time college students who are at least 21 years of age and legal residents of the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on innovative, ingenious, or just plain good ideas on ways to help smokers put down cigarettes and join the world’s smoke-free movement.

Hollister Co Anti-Bullying Scholarship Program
Sponsor: National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) Foundation

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors from anywhere in the world with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0. Applicant must submit a response answering a question in regards to bullying, as well as their transcript, recommendation, and a resume.

Versitas Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students at accredited post-secondary institutions in the U.S. who are studying Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Business & MBA, or Adult Education.

Young Women in Public Affairs Award

Closing Date: February 1, 2017 (deadlines vary based on Zonta chapter)
Description: Scholarship is open to women, ages 16-19 on April 1, living in a Zonta district/region, or a citizen of a Zonta country. Applicant must have an active commitment to volunteerism, experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership, and knowledge of Zonta International and its programs.

Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to registered undergraduate full-time juniors and seniors at accredited four-year colleges and universities in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to an ethical issue.
