AMS Senior Named Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students entering their final year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2019 and are pursuing a degree in the atmospheric or related sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residence status and must have at least a 3.25 GPA.

ASCPA Scholarships

Amount: Up to $2,000
Closing Date: February 8, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students in the state of Arizona. Applicant must be majoring in or planning to major in Accounting.

Byron Bird Graduate Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students in Kansas who are current graduate accounting students or graduate school candidates.

Courageous Persuaders Video Contest

Description: Contest is open to high school students in grades 9-12. Student must create a commercial targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of underage drinking or texting while driving.

ExploraVision Science Competition

Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: February 8, 2019
Description: Competition is open to students in grades K through 12. Students must work in groups of 2-4 and select a technology that is present in the home, school, and/or community and explore what the technology does, how it works, and how or why it was invented.

John J. Killian Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to junior accounting students at any Kansas independent college or university.

Kennedy-King Memorial Scholarship
Sponsor: Kennedy-King Memorial Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to students who will transfer in the fall or spring following the award from a Contra Costa County (California) college to junior standing at a four-year accredited institution. Applicant must belong to a minority group under-represented in the California College and University system (African-American, Americans (North, Central, or South) derived from Spanish-speaking cultures, Native American, or Pacific Islander.
