High School Seniors English Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to students aged 18 and under who have not yet graduated from high school and who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or an ally. Applicant must submit an essay on “pink ink.”

Students of Integrity Scholarship
Sponsor: Better Business Bureau Wisconsin
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: February 14, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Wisconsin who have at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a Wisconsin-based accredited Higher Education Institution. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to a difficult decision they had to make.

We The Students Scholarship Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Armed Forces schools abroad, and students in U.S. territories who are in grades 8-12 and between the ages of 14-19. Student must submit an essay on the prompt, “What are the essential qualities of a citizen in your community in 21st century America?”

Description: Scholarship is open to current A+FCU members (Texas) or children or grandchildren of A+FCU members. Alice W. Rooke Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have been accepted into or who are pursuing an approved course of study to become a medical doctor (no pre-med, veterinarian, or physical assistant) at approved, accredited medical schools, college, and universities.

Allen A. and Dorothy Belle Dickey Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduates of Weston County (Wyoming) high schools and GED recipients of Weston County who wish to attend a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming. Preference will go to those pursuing degrees in agriculture and nursing, but all areas of study are considered.

Alliant Energy Innovation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to a dependent child of a current customer, or current customers, of one of Alliant Energy’s utility subsidiaries (Interstate Power and Light or Wisconsin Power and Light) who plans to enroll in, for the first time, beginning in the fall of 2019, a full-time undergraduate course of study in a business or STEM major at an accredited institution within the Alliant Energy service territory (Iowa or Wisconsin).

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current college students from the state of Kansas. Description: Scholarships are open to students entering their final year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2019 and are pursuing a degree in the atmospheric or related sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residence status and must have at least a 3.25 GPA.
