Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in the state of Rhode Island who have been accepted to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

Curtis Kinetic Science Competition
Sponsor: Orlando Science Center
Amount: Up to $500
Closing Date: February 12, 2020
Description: Competition is open to any school, science club, and home school group in the nine surrounding counties (Brevard, Lake, Marion, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Park, Sumter, and Volusia) in grades 6-8. Students may work in teams of up to five to build a kinetic system with multiple energy transformations.

Davidson Fellows Scholarship
Sponsor: Davidson Institute for Talent Development
Amount: Up to $50,000
Closing Date: February 12, 2020
Description: Program is open to students who are 18 years of age or younger as of October 1, 2020. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, or a Permanent Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas to active U.S. military duty. Applicant must submit a significant piece of work in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy, or “outside the box.” Program is looking for students whose projects are at, or close to, the college graduate level with a depth of knowledge in their particular area of study.

Elizabeth J. Davis Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Vermont students who are enrolled in a certified college (does not have to be a Vermont college) who are studying either nursing (RN or LPN), physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or medical social work.

Milemark Media Legal Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current law students who are legal U.S. residents and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay sharing why they decided to enter the legal field.

ACB Scholarships

Description: Applicant must be a legally blind student who is a graduating high school senior enrolling in higher education in the fall, or a current undergraduate, graduate or vocational student.

AMS Minority Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2020 and are planning to pursue careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.

Bobette Bibo Gugliotta Memorial Scholarship for Creative Writing

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating seniors and graduates of public or private high schools in San Mateo or Santa Clara Counties (California) who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a four-year college or university as a full-time student. Applicant must submit two writing samples.

Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta Scholarships

Description: Fellowship is open to current, full-time graduate students who excel in science and have an interest in the field of the gut microbiome’s effect on human health and well-being, or in the nutritional and functional benefits of yogurt.

Injury Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who have suffered a serious injury and are committed to demonstrating a determination to rebuild their lives by attending college. Applicant must submit an essay related to their injury and how it has affected their education.

Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited MSN, DNP, or PhD program in Nursing and who either live in Kentucky or are enrolled in a Kentucky program. Applicant must also be a current member of KCNPNM.
