Student Speakers Contest

Description: Contest is open to California residents in grades 9-12. Applicant must perform a 5-10 minute speech on a given topic related to integrity and civility. Applicant must apply with their local club (see website for details).

CEMS Fund Scholarship
Sponsor: Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship Fund
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to current residents of the state of Maryland who are high school juniors or seniors or currently attending an accredited Maryland post-secondary school. Applicant must be the first person in his/her immediate family who will be attending a Maryland accredited post-secondary school and studying (or planning to study) in the medical field.

First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Annual Scholarship Program
Sponsor: First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA)

Description: Scholarship is open to members in good standing with the Association for at least three years prior to date of application. Applicant must also have a policy with the organization in his or her own name. Scholarships are open to students in grades 1-12, as well as college and graduate students. Award must be used towards tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Richard and Louise Varco Scholarship
Sponsor: Richard and Louise Varco Scholarship Fund, Saint Paul and Minnesota Communication Foundation
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate, graduate or professional level study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Minnesota for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA OR be a worker displaced under extraordinary circumstances.

Beth Carew Memorial Scholarship Program
Sponsor: The Colburn-Keenan Foundation, Inc.
Amount: Up to $6,000
Closing Date: February 26, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, or a related inherited bleeding disorder.

Heroes’ Legacy Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to dependent unmarried children under the age of 23 of active duty personnel, Reserve/Guard, and retired military members, or survivors of service members who died while on active duty. Applicant must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a full-time undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited U.S. college or university in the fall term of 2020.

Description: Applicant must be a dependent, unmarried child under the age of 23 of an active duty, reserve/guard or retired military member or survivors of service members who died while on active duty or survivors of individuals who died while receiving retired pay from the military. Student must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in the fall of 2020 in a full-time undergraduate program of study leading to a Bachelor’s degree.

TeenDrive365 Video Challenge

Closing Date: February 26, 2020
Description: Challenge is open to legal U.S. residents who are at least 13 years of age and are enrolled in grades 9-12 at a public, private or parochial school in the United States. Student must create a 30-60 second video that demonstrates the importance of safe teen driving.

College Counts Scholarship
Sponsor: State of Alabama
Amount: Up to $4,000
Closing Date: February 27, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors or first-time college freshmen beginning in fall 2020 who are Alabama residents and planning to attend an Alabama eligible education institution. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have at least a 2.75 GPA.

Description: Scholarship is open to permanent residents of the states of New Jersey (Somerset, mercer, or Middlesex counties), Massachusetts (greater Boston area), and Ohio (greater Cincinnati area) who are attending a UNCF member institution and majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Jeannette Rankin Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who live in a service areas of a RMEL member company (308 RMEL member companies across 38 states – see website for list of utility company members). Applicant must be planning or currently studying in engineering, business, information systems, plant, line or distribution technology, line worker, or other curriculum related to the electric energy industry.

Student Video Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades 6-12 worldwide. Applicant must create a short video (up to 60 seconds) about the human population growth that highlights one of the given global challenges.
