Ned McWherter Scholars Program

Description: Scholars program is open to Tennessee graduating high school seniors who have at least a 3.5 GPA and have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT (or concordant equivalent score on the SAT). Applicant must be planning to attend college in Tennessee.

Nellie Love Butcher Music Scholarship
Sponsor: Daughters of the American Revolution
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: February 15, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing an education in piano or voice. Applicant must submit a performance CD. Special consideration shall be given to students currently attending the Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students attending an accredited college in Colorado, Wyoming, or Nebraska. Applicant must have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e., Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

OAC Scholarships
Sponsor: Ohio Agricultural Council

Closing Date: February 15, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors preparing to enter college or any other undergraduate student currently enrolled in college. Applicants or their parents or legal guardian must be a resident of the State of Ohio. Applicant must have declared, or plan to declare, a major in agriculture.

Occupational/Physical Therapy Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have financial need and have been accepted or are attending an accredited school of occupational therapy (including art, music, or physical therapy).

Palama Settlement Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school and college students who are permanent residents of Hawaii. Applicant must have financial need. In addition to the college scholarships, there is a scholarship for private school tuition.

Past Presidents’ Legacy Scholarship
Sponsor: National Hydropower Association

Closing Date: February 15, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to college juniors and seniors beginning fall 2019, or graduate students with at least a 3.0 who are pursuing a study that is related to the hydropower industry: Engineering, Sciences (Biology, Fisheries, and Hydrology), communications, or environmental studies.

Pro-Life Scholarship Award for Nursing Students

Description: Scholarship is open to pro-life students currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing in the United States. Applicant must submit a complete application, letter of recommendation, and an essay on what nurses can do to promote a positive respect for life.

Racine AAUW Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to female students who are legal residents of Racine County, Wisconsin. Applicant must be enrolled in either a two or four-year accredited degree-granting institution as a full-time student and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students enrolled at four-year institutions must either be a junior or senior.
