Description: Scholarship is open to junior and senior college students and graduate students who are full-time Music majors with choral church music as a primary intent.

Significant Challenge College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to legal U.S. citizens currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited high school who will graduate in the Spring of 2019. Applicant must have taken challenging courses throughout their high school career and demonstrated strong leadership roles within the community.

Sister Rita Jeanne Scholarships
Sponsor: Journalism Education Association (JEA)
Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: February 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have participated in high school journalism for at least two years. Applicant must be a student of a JEA adviser and a state winner. To be considered for the scholarship, applicant must submit a portfolio of their work to their state – most state deadlines are in February.

SME Education Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree students who are pursuing degrees in manufacturing or a related field at a two-year or four-year college or university. Multiple scholarships are available.

Success for Survivors Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited public or private post-secondary or vocational institution who has survived intimate partner abuse.

Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Nebraska and will graduate from a Nebraska high school or earn a Nebraska GED. Applicant must have financial need.

Tall Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Tall Clubs International Foundation

Closing Date: February 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be attending their first year of college in fall 2019. Women applicants must be at least 5’10” and men applicants must be at least 6’2″.

Tennessee HOPE Scholarship – Nontraditional
Sponsor: Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation
Amount: Up to $1,750
Closing Date: February 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are 25 years of age or older. Applicant must be an entering freshman in an eligible post-secondary institution or have not been enrolled for at least two years after last attending any post-secondary institution. Applicant must have an adjusted gross income of $36,000 or less on their IRS tax form.

TSCRF Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma with plans to pursue a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife).

W.H. “Howie” McClennan Scholarship
Sponsor: International Association of FireFighters
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: February 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters and legally adopted children of firefighters killed in the line of duty in the United States or Canada who are planning to attend a university, accredited college, or other institution of higher learning.

Winston Voice Scholarships
Sponsor: National Society of Arts and Letters
Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: February 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens between the ages of 16 and 22 years of age. Applicant must submit a ten-minute vocal performance. Scholarship funds are for private study, special training or personal advancement in the applicants’ future careers. The funds cannot be used for college tuition, housing or travel.
