Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters, and grandchildren of sheriffs, former sheriffs, sheriff’s office employees or peace officers in the state of Texas who are currently enrolled in college.

Shining Stars Scholarship

Description: Sweepstakes is open to students who are enrolled in a degree program and are legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. Applicant must fill out a short form, including answering a few questions about loans.

SkillPointe Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 16 years of age or older. Applicant must be pursuing non-credit courses at an approved community college, technical college, or other training institution.

SMUD Powering Futures Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a current SMUD customer or have a parent/guardian with are SMUD customers.

Spirit of Youth Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to junior members of the American Legion who are high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on what they will do to make their college or university a better place, as well recommendations from their principal or guidance counselor, a member of the clergy, and two other adult citizens (a total of four recommendations).

Students of Integrity Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Wisconsin who have at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a Wisconsin-based accredited Higher Education Institution. Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship Essay Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to current high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and will be attending an accredited four-year college/university in the next year. Applicant must submit an essay on how Alzheimer’s disease has changed or impacted their life.
