Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation Veterans Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current college students from Illinois who are either veterans or a child or grandchild of a veteran or active-duty military member. In addition to the general scholarships, there are specific scholarships for Nursing majors and students who participate in a Junior ROTC program.

Illinois Beef Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Illinois residents who are high school seniors or current undergraduate students and they or their family are actively involved in beef production and currently an IBA member.

Iowa Scholarship for the Arts

Description: Scholarship is open to outstanding high school seniors in Iowa who excel in the arts and will be enrolled in accredited educational programs leading to careers in the arts (literary arts, visual arts, performing arts).

ISAC Grant Programs

Description: Grants are open to residents of Illinois who are enrolled at least half-time at an ISAC-approved Illinois two- or four-year college. There is a grant available to dependents of police or fire officers and dependents of correctional officers.

Italian American Club – Las Vegas Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are of Italian descent and legal residents of Clark County, Nevada.

JACL National Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students who are active National JACL members at either an Individual or Student/Youth Level.

JC Runyon Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students who have completed at least one inpatient stay in an accredited psychiatric facility, substance abuse center, or similar behavioral health treatment center. In addition to the nationwide scholarship, there is a scholarship open to females who are Tennessee or Midsouth residents who have been treated for suicidal ideation/attempt.

Description: Scholarship is open to low-income women who are 35 or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Applicant must be pursuing a technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree, or a first bachelor’s degree.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have lost a parent to lung cancer.

Junior Duck Stamp Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Deadline only for Missouri, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and South Carolina deadlines have already passed, but all other states have a later deadline – see website for details.

Junior League of Birmingham Scholarship

Description: Scholarships is open to female students who will be enrolled as a full or part-time student in any accredited two- or four-year school for the 2019-2020 school year. Applicant must have permanent residence in Jefferson or Shelby Counties (Alabama).

Life Lessons Essay Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico who are between the ages of 17 and 24 years of age and have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian. Applicant must be currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a college, university, or trade school.

Macdonald Foundation Worth Ethic Scholarship
Sponsor: Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college from the Merrill area or Marathon County, Wisconsin. Applicant must be planning to pursue a post-secondary education in any field of study at a four-year campus within the University of Wisconsin system.
