Description: Scholarship is open to students studying in a master’s degree program in library and information studies from an ALA accredited program, or a master’s degree with a specialty in school librarianship that meets the ALA curriculum guidelines.

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

Amount: Up to $7,000
Closing Date: March 7, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment. Students must receive the application from the Udall faculty representative on their college campus – see website for details.

AG Bell College Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Closing Date: March 8, 2019
Description: Scholarships are open to students who have bilateral hearing loss diagnosed before the age of four and who are enrolled in or planning to attend a mainstream university and working toward a four-year undergraduate degree or a graduate degree.

Blacks at Microsoft Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors of African descent who plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall. Applicant must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems or select business programs. Applicant must demonstrate a passion for technology, demonstrate leadership, and have at least a 3.3 GPA.

DNA Day Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to high school students in grades 9-12. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic related to genetics.

Immigrants Rising’s Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are foreign-born and do not have permanent residency (green card) or citizenship in the U.S. Applicant must have graduated or intend to graduate from a San Francisco Bay Area high school or current or expected enrollment in a San Francisco Bay Area college or university.

NIADA Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are legally residing in one of the four NIADA Regions. Applicant must submit completed application and an essay discussing their interest in the automotive industry.
