High School Senior Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into an agriculture or agriculture-related curriculum at a university, college or community college. Applicant must be a resident of Compeer Financial’s 144 county territory (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin).

Horatio Alger Association National Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors in the United States who exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution). Applicant must demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, and display integrity and perseverance in overing adversity.

Description: Scholarship is open to students of Hispanic descent who are graduating high school seniors, community colleges students, transfer students, college students, or graduate students. All majors and graduate fields are accepted, but there is an emphasis on STEM majors.

Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to permanent Illinois residents who are graduating high school seniors and will be enrolled as a full-time college student in Illinois during the upcoming school year.

Junior Duck Stamp Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades K-12 who attend public, private, or home schools in the United States and the U.S. territories. Contestant must draw, paint, or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. Unfortunately deadlines for California, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia have already passed.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and individuals entering their freshman year of college during the upcoming academic year.
