Agricultural Scholarships
Sponsor: California Table Grape Commission
Amount: Up to $20,000
Closing Date: January 23, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors graduating in 2017 or high school graduates who are residents in the Coachella or Joaquin Valleys and are planning to study agriculture business, science, technology or a related field.

Historically Underrepresented Groups Scholarship
Sponsor: Society for American Archaeology
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: January 23, 2017
Description: Scholarships are open to minority undergraduate and graduate students who are studying Archaeology.

QCESC Scholarship
Sponsor: The Quad City Engineering and Science Council
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: January 24, 2017
Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who plan on studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited college or university. Applicant must be a Quad City area resident in the Illinois Counties of Carroll, Henry, Knox, Lee, mercer, rock Island, or Whiteside, or in the Iowa Counties of Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa.

Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship
Sponsor: The American Institute of Architects
Amount: $10,000
Closing Date: January 25, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to women studying architecture within a NAAB accredited bachelor or master’s degree program. Applicant must be entering at least their third year of undergraduate or any level of graduate study.

TeenLife Summer Promotion
Sponsor: TeenLife
Amount: $500
Closing Date: January 25, 2017
Description: Promotion is open to students between the age of 13 and 19 years of age. Student must browse the TeenLife’s “Guide to Overnight Summer Programs” and fill out the interest form to get more information.

GMP Memorial Scholarship Fun
Sponsor: Glass, Molders, Pottery, Plastics & Allied Workers (GMP)
Amount: $4,000
Closing Date: January 26, 2017
Description: Scholarship fund is open to children, stepchildren, and adopted children of a GMP member. Applicant must also be a senior in high school.

Microsoft Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Microsoft
Amount: Up to full tuition. Recipient will be required to apply for a summer internship and if offered, must complete the internship at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.
Closing Date: January 26, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Applicant must be pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM degree. Students from underrepresented groups of STEM are encouraged to apply.

Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program
Sponsor: Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program
Amount: Up to $7,500
Closing Date: January 27, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering.

MOPH Scholarship Program
Sponsor: The Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH)
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: January 27, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to Purple Heart recipients who are members of MOPH, spouses of Purple Heart recipients who are members of MOPH, or direct lineal descendants (children, step-children, adopted children, grandchildren, or step-grandchildren) of a Purple Heart recipient. Applicant must be a graduate or upcoming graduate (current senior) of a high school or GED program who is accepted by or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
