ABPA Harrington-Arthur Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to all persons of high school age (at least 13 and no older than age 19 as of December 31, 2016) who are legal residents of the United States or Canada. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic related to safe drinking water.

Academic University Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to current, full-time students enrolled in an accredited university or college in the United States with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Applicant must submit an essay about a design, advertisement, creative work, or form of new media that influenced their perspective on a social media. Competitive candidates will demonstrate a working knowledge of design.

ARC Immigrant Scholar Award
Sponsor: Accident Recovery Center
Amount: $500
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students who immigrated to the United States. Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited school, or be accepted to begin school, within six month of application.

Dr. Joseph and Sonya Landholm Scholarship
Sponsor: Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA)
Amount: $4,500
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to veterinary students originally from Nebraska or Nebraska licensed practitioners who are NVMA members.

Fundera College Scholarship

Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students in the United States. Applicant must be a young entrepreneur. Student must submit a video on a topic related to technology and small businesses.

Military College Scholarship
Sponsor: Low VA Rates
Amount: $1,250
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to military students currently enrolled in college. Children with a mother or father serving in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.

MIT THINK Scholars Program
Sponsor: MIT THINK
Amount: $1,000 budget, chance to win $500 scholarship, mentorship, and a trip to MIT
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Applicant must be a current high school student at a school in the United States. Applicant must submit a project proposal on a science or engineering idea.

MVP Scholarships
Sponsor: MVP Visuals
Amount: $500
Closing Date: January 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate college students who are/planning on majoring in Graphic Arts & Design or applied arts. Applicant must create a digital visual design to promote anything they desire related to the university/college the student is/will be attending.
