Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a teacher preparation program through an accredited institution of higher education and will continue in the Spring 2022 semester as a full-time student. Only students from a college or university holding membership in AAEE are eligible to participate. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship specifically for students of color.

Description: Competition is open to students in grades 6-12. Student must create a short documentary video on the following theme: “How does the federal government impact your life?”

Innovation in Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.

UNCF Social Justice Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are from New York, New Jersey, Vermont, and Connecticut who are committed to social justice. Applicant must be African American and be currently enrolled in college with at least a 2.5 GPA. Although all majors are encouraged to apply, those students who are political science, criminal justice or in a course of study toward the preparation of law school will be given preference.

Description: Scholarships are open to women who have served or are serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard or the child of a woman who served honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Applicant must a current community college or certificate student with at least a 2.5 GPA or a current undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Malcolm X Scholarship for “Exceptional Courage”

QCESC Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who plan on studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited college or university. Applicant must be a Quad City area resident in the Illinois Counties of Carroll, Henry, Knox, Lee, Mercer, Rock Island, or Whiteside, or in the Iowa Counties of Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa.

APIA Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
Amount: Up to $20,000

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity and are citizens, nationals, or legal permanent residents of the United States. Applicant must be enrolling as an undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall of 2022. Special focus will be given to students who live at or below the poverty level and/or are the first in their family to attend college.

Coolidge Scholarship

Amount: Tuition, room and board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are high school juniors and will enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate for the first time in fall 2023.
