Description: Scholarships are open to California graduating high school seniors and current college students who have provided service to the LGBT+ community (open to all sexual orientations). In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships open to Nursing students and Medical students.

Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time sophomore students who are majoring in a discipline related to NOAA’s programs and missions. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a U.S. citizen.

Fred J. Epstein Youth Achievement Award

Description: Award recognizes the strengths and accomplishments of young people with learning disabilities and ADHD. Award is open to a student 19 years old or younger who has demonstrated initiative, talent and determination resulting in a notable accomplishment in any field, including art, music, science, math, athletics, or community service.

George M. Pullman Educational Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are Cook County, Illinois residents. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who has at least a 3.0 GPA and can demonstrate strong financial need.

Geraldine “Polly’ Bednash Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students admitted or enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program at an AACN member institution affiliated with CastleBranch (see link for details). Applicant must also have at least a 3.2 GPA in current program or at last school attended.

Girls Impact the World Film Festival Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school students and college undergraduates who are under the age of 25. Applicant must submit a 3-6 minute short film that raises awareness about critical issues affecting women and girls around the world OR propose solutions to critical challenges faced by women.

Description: Contest is open to students in 8th grade, high school, and undergraduate studies. Applicant must submit a 3-6 minute video on a girl who is greening up the world.

Hawai’I Community Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students who are residents of the state of Hawaii and can demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be attending an accredited two or four-year college or university within the United States as either an undergraduate or graduate student. HEAR Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Chicagoland high school seniors with financial need and a demonstrated commitment to their community. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA AND at least a 24 on the ACT AND/OR 1110 (out of 1600) on the SAT.

Description: Applicant must be 13 years of age or older, be a resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education.
