There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

Description: Scholarship is open to all high school and college students. Applicant must host an American Red Cross blood drive between December 15, 2022 and January 15, 2023.

Marsha Martin Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are members of FFA or 4H, plan to pursue an agriculture-related college degree, and reside in Texas Farm Credit’s 100-county territory.

Mensa Foundation College Scholarship program

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in an accredited U.S. institution for the 2023-2024 academic year. Scholarship is open to students worldwide who are MENSA members (U.S. students do not need to be MENSA members).

Murse World Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students who are/will be pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, etc. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to students who have attended school in Santa Barbara County (California) for at least four of the six years between grades 7-12 and plan to attend full-time at a Title IV approved institution in the next academic year. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or AB 540 eligible.

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship

Closing Date: January 15, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open residents of South Dakota at the time of high school graduation with at least a 24 on the ACT or 1090 on the SAT and who had a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 prior to graduation. Applicant must attend a university, college, or technical school that provides instruction from a campus located in South Dakota.

Steckol and Stanley Awards

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a speech-language pathology or audiology training program. Applicant must be a KSHA student member.

Description: Scholarship is open to AAJA student members who are current college students enrolled in an accredited U.S college or university.

Women in STEM Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to female international students who can legally study in the U.S. or Canada (U.S. permanent resident, DACA, or valid student visa). Applicant must be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time STEM degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school.

Community Champions Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to student enrolled in a degree program at least half-time, or technical skills training program, and is a legal resident of the U.S. or a DACA student. Applicant must fill out a short form.

The Christophers Video Contest for College Students

Description: Contest is open to current undergraduate and graduate college students. Applicant must create a film or video (five minutes or less) that best communicates the message and mission of the The Christophers and its belief that one person can make a difference.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school and undergraduate minority students who are entering, enrolled in, or transferring into a NAAB-accredited undergraduate architecture program.

Innovation in Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.

Legacy Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to women who have served or are serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard or the child of a woman who served honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Orange Scholars Program

Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to women studying architecture within a NAAB accredited bachelor or master’s degree program. Applicant must be entering at least their third year of undergraduate or any level of graduate study.
