What a wonderful resource and labor of love!
Thank you! I am very happy to share this information with students!
Hello! We’re a nonprofit still in start-up phase so apologies for this late response to such a great post. We’re loving Scholarship Saturdays! Has anyone in the Counselor community invited alumni back to the classroom to help students with scholarship applications? It’s a great alternative to cloning yourselves! =) Future First USA (futurefirstusa.org and @futurefirstusa on Twitter)
I’m glad you’re liking Scholarship Saturday. Some schools invite alums back to help students and I have always thought it was a great idea. Anytime students can see someone that is like them (e.g. a former student of their school), I feel like they connect to the information so much more. In my previous positions on the college side of admissions, I always tried to send my college students back to their high schools to help with college applications, essays, and the financial aid process.
