Prospective 7-12 Secondary Teacher Course Work Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are preparing for teaching secondary school mathematics. Applicant must submit a written proposal that includes evidence of their past academic achievement in a college or university and their commitment to teaching.

Race for Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a field of study within the equine, animal science or agricultural industry and/or whose family is employed in the equine industry. Applicant must be 24 years old or younger and have at least a 2.85 GPA.

Rizio Liberty Lipinsky Lawyer Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to future law students who have accepted admission into law school for the 2020-2021 academic year and current law students who will still be in law school throughout the 2020-2021 year. Description: Scholarship is open to Maine residents who are currently enrolled, or will enroll, full-time in an accredited post-secondary educational institution and is pursuing an Associates, or higher degree. Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of community service, academic achievement, financial need, and other achievements of distinction. Applicant must have at least a 2.7 GPA.

Society of Women Engineers Scholarships for Freshmen Students

Description: Scholarship is open to male students in their senior year of high school who are planning to pursue higher education in medicine, engineering, law, or political science. Finalists are required to attend a personal interview in San Diego, California.
