Description: Scholarship is open to West Virginia residents who will be entering their junior year of college or second year of law school. Applicant must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering, General Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Accounting baccalaureate degree or Juris Doctorate degree at a state accredited college or university. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Encore Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently attending or have been accepted to an accredited college or university. Applicant must be the victim of a drunk driving accident or the child, dependent or spouse of a victim of a drunk driving accident.

Estelle Martin Cartledge Memorial Fund Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school graduates who have a strong academic record and are accepted or currently enrolled in a four-year institution of higher education. Applicant must have a sustained (one year or more) involvement in humanitarian service projects. Applicant must live in the Mon Valley, Pennsylvania (Rankin, Turtle Creek, Braddock, North Braddock, Homestead, Duquesne, Monongahela, and West Mifflin). Preference will be given to students who are African American and attend Morning Star Baptist Church.

Description: Scholarship is open to students 14 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are currently enrolled (or will enroll in the future) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Applicant must “write a letter to the number five explaining why five is important.”

First Responders Children’s Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to biological, adopted, or step-children of a police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, or 911 dispatchers. Applicant must be an incoming or current full-time college student pursuing a bachelor’s associate’s, certificate, graduate, or law degree.

Fishing Heritage Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to descendants of a licensed California commercial fisherman, descendants of the current spouse of a licensed California commercial fisherman, or holder of a valid California commercial fishing license or worked on a vessel licensed by the California Department of Fish and Game for at least the past five years. San Luis Obispo County qualified applicants will have priority of the available scholarship funds.

Description: Scholarships are open to any post-secondary (after high school) student who is an enrolled member of a U.S. Federal or state Recognized Tribe or who can prove being a descendant of an enrolled parent or grandparent.
