Chandler Contest

Description: Contest is open to full-time and part-time students who have never been employed as reporters or editors at general circulation newspapers (internships do not affect eligibility). Applicant must submit three religion stories published in the 2020-21 academic year in campus newspapers and magazines or in general circulation newspapers during a student internship.

Description: Scholarship is open to students entering their first year of college at the beginning of the Fall 2021 term. Applicant must be deeply involved in the community that surrounds them through direct involvement, meaningful commitment and generosity of their time and efforts.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are Jewish and are residents of the metropolitan Washington, DC area.

Margie H. Verbal Emergency Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating college seniors who have experienced emergency financial need to graduate in spring 2021. Applicant must have at least a 2.8 GPA, be majoring in Engineering or Education, and attend a UNCF member institution in North Carolina.

Scholarships for Students with Autism

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current students attending two or four-year universities, life skills or post secondary programs, or vocational, technical, or trade schools. Applicant must face daily challenges related to autism and attend programs that assist in skill-building, job-readiness, and other transition-related skills.

Description: Scholarship is open to African-American and Hispanic students completing their senior year of high school in a member of the Council of the Great City Schools. Applicant must have a commitment to pursue a career in a STEM field.

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students. Applicant must submit a short introduction and an essay on their good choices like choosing not to drive distracted or choosing not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
