GAPA Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college students who express activism in the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) and/or lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities; however, applicants do not need to identify as either to apply. Preference will be given to those who identify as both API and LGBTQ. There is no citizenship requirement, however student must be attending a U.S. accredited institution.

Collegiate Inventors Competition

Description: Competition is open to students enrolled as full-time students in any U.S. college or university for at least part of the 12 months prior to entry. Contestants can enter as an individual or a team. Contestants must submit an original idea or work product.

Jack and Jill of America Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to African-American students who are graduating high school seniors. Applicant must become and maintain full-time status at an accredited, four-year post secondary institution beginning in the fall of 2020 and be working towards a bachelor’s degree.

Stuck at Prom Scholarship

Description: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the Untied States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and all U.S. territories and possessions (excluding Arizona, Maryland, Tennessee, Vermont, and Colorado) who are at least 14 years of age at the time of entry. Contestant must create and wear their original and unique promwear using Duck brand duct tap and/or Duck brand crafting tape.

In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.

NAFB Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students for the Fall 2020 semester who are enrolled in or transferring to an agricultural communications curriculum. James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and graduates who plan to enroll or who are already enrolled at least part-time during the 2020-2021 academic year in a course of study leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree at a licensed or accredited culinary school.

Description: Scholarship is open to female undergraduate or graduate students who are majoring in Public Relations, Communication, Media Studies, Marketing or Journalism. Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States and have a desire to work in the entertainment or sports industry.

Tennessee Society of CPAs Educational and Memorial Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to residents of Tennessee and attending a Tennessee college or university and majoring in accounting. Applicant must be attending college during the 2020-21 school year and have already completed introductory accounting courses.

1,000 Scholarship: Have a Conversation and Disrupt Racism in Your Community

Description: You could win a $1,000 scholarship by starting a conversation with friends and family about how to disrupt racism in your community. We also will donate $1,000 to a Black-led, DoSomething-approved organization fighting for racial justice of the scholarship winner’s choosing. The recent wave of worldwide protests sparked by the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, amidst others, highlight the injustices, fear, and violence that Black Americans face on a daily basis because of white supremacy. If you identify as Black: Share our self-care for young Black activists guide with a friend. If you identify as white or a non-Black person of color: Use our guide to start a conversation about disrupting racism with someone you care about.
