Applicant must submit an essay on the given topic: “Describe a situation in which a person needs to interact with the government (federal, state or local), how this impacts the person individually and citizens collectively, and how the relationship with government has changed in the past 50 years. Is this change good or bad and why?”

Description: Contest is open to young people through grade 12 in the United States and Canada, to CEGEP in Quebec and grade 13 in the Caribbean, who are educated in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean.
