Description: Scholarship is open to New Mexico current college students who will be pursuing an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Metals Technology during the upcoming academic year.

Davis Scholarship for Women in STEM
Sponsor: UNCF
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: June 4, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to minority female students who are classified as college sophomores, juniors or seniors in the Fall and attend a UNCF member institution. Preference will be given to students from Massachusetts, although all eligible students are encouraged to apply. Applicant must be majoring in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Pam Schneider Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to New Mexico residents enrolled full-time as a junior or senior in a New Mexico college and majoring in Business with a marketing emphasis, Journalism with an advertising emphasis, Strategic communications, Advertising and Marketing, or Graphic Design, Fine Art, Photography, or Illustration.

Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women

Description: Scholarship is open to females who have taken a break during their educational career, but are returning for the senior year of college. Applicant must be planning to attend a New Mexico college or university for a minimum of one semester during the next academic year.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship – Career & Technical
Sponsor: Washington State Opportunity Scholarship
Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: June 4, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to Washington students who will enroll in an approved program, such as welding, manufacturing or IT, at one of Washington’s 34 community and technical colleges.

Youth in Foster Care Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Albuquerque Community Foundation
Amount: Up to $1,000
Closing Date: June 4, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are between 17 and 21 years of age and have been in the New Mexico foster care system for a minimum of one year.

Cabaniss Johnston Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to academically outstanding second-year law students who are Alabama residents.

Father James B. Macelwane Annual Award in Meteorology

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students studying meteorology. Applicant must submit a paper on some phase of the atmospheric sciences, a letter of application, and a letter from the department head or faculty member.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and undergraduate students. Applicant must submit an essay on smartphones and how it impacts them while they are behind the wheel.

Goodwin & Scieska Innovation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current law students at an accredited law school within the U.S. or at an accredited undergraduate university planning to attend law school. Applicant must have at least a 2.8 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on one of two given prompts related to attorneys.

Kay Longcope Scholarship Award
Sponsor: National Lesbian & Gay Journalist Association (NLGJA)

Description: Scholarship is open to LGBT individuals of color planning to pursue a career in journalism and are able to demonstrate their passion and commitment to the profession.

Leroy F. Aarons Scholarship Award
Sponsor: National Lesbian & Gay Journalist Association (NLGJA)
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: May 29, 2020extended to June 5, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to current or incoming undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled in an accredited journalism or mass communications field. Applicant must also demonstrate an awareness of the issues facing the LGBT community and the importance of fair and accurate news coverage.

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
Sponsor: National Collegiate Athletic Association
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: June 5, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to student athletes who have achieved in their last year of varsity-level intercollegiate spring athletics at an NCAA school. Applicant must be nominated by the faculty athletic representative or athletic director and be enrolling as a full- or part-time graduate students. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

Tom Cory Scholarship
Sponsor: Architectural Precast Association
Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: June 5, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students who are in pursuit for an architectural degree. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must be involved in activities related to the architectural field.

Out to Innovate Scholarship
Sponsor: National Organization of Lesbian and Gay Scientists and Technical Professionals Inc.
Amount: UP to $5,000
Closing Date: June 6, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
