There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year college degree program within the United States who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to same-sex marriage around the world.

Scholarship America Dream Award

Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at the sophomore-year level or higher at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA). Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and financial need.

Description: Award is open to Latino high school seniors who excel both inside and outside the classroom, who have at least a 3.0 GPA and are Permanent residents, DACA, U.S. Citizens, or eligible non-citizens. Applicants must be from the Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Northern California, Phoenix, or Washington, DC areas.

Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway

Description: Giveaway is open to U.S. legal residents who are between the ages of 18 and 24 years of age. Applicant must submit how they will change the world in 350 characters or less. Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college seniors who attend a HBCU and has demonstrated high academic achievement (at least a 3.5 GPA), strong leadership skills, commitment to community service, and unmet financial need.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and full-time college students who are U.S. citizens with at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to financial literacy.

NEWH | Orange County Region Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students attending an accredited college in the California counties of San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, or Imperial. Applicant must have completed at least half the requirements for a degree and must be pursuing a career objective in the Hospitality industry (Hotel/Restaurant management, Culinary, Food Service, Architecture, Design, etc.)

Women Empowering Women (wEw) Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to non-traditional female residents of Dearborn County (Indiana) who are enrolled or plan to enrolled in Fall 2020 in an accredited post-secondary educational institution or program.

Description: Grant is open to female members of Kentucky Farm Bureau for at least one year prior to application who are a non-traditional student interested in resuming her education after leaving school to fulfill either family or work-related responsibilities.

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are pursuing an actuarial or mathematics-related degree, with the goal of pursuing an actuarial career. Description: Scholarship is open to students who have completed a minimum of two years of college education and are currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. or Canada for the entire 2018-2019 academic year. 4-H Youth In Action Awards

Description: Award is open to 4-H members/recent alums who are between the ages of 16 and 19 years of age.

TF Cornerstone Long Island City Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college freshmen enrolled full-time at any accredited four-year institution for the 2019-2020 academic year who are permanent residents of Long Island, New York.

Columbian Club Charitable Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents of the State of Illinois, and at least 25% of Italian lineage.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are at least 16 years of age. Applicant must submit an essay on how they think energy will change in the next 20 years and what the impact on our lives will be.

Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have a strong caddie record and excellent academics. Applicant must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average.
