Description: Scholarship is open to West Virginia residents who are college sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled, or planning to enroll, in civil engineering or a construction related four-year degree program in a West Virginia college or university.

Description: Scholarships are open to students attending, or planning to attend, a college, university, or post-high school degree program in the state of West Virginia as well as graduates, or upcoming graduates, of an in-state high school. Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to residents of the counties of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Tyler and Wetzel in West Virginia and Jefferson and Belmont in Ohio. The majority of the scholarships are open to high school seniors, but there are some open to current college students and non-traditional students. Parkersburg Area Community Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who live in Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.

TheDream.US National Scholarship Program
Sponsor: The Dream.US Scholarship Program
Amount: $25,000
Closing Date: March 1, 2018
Description: Applicant must be a DREAMer who is DACA eligible and has applied for or received DACA approval. Applicant must be a first time college student and intend to attend a partner college (details available on website). In addition to the national scholarship, there is location specific scholarships (states where they face paying out-of-state tuition or will not admit students to their universities).

West Virginia PROMISE Scholarship

Amount: Up to $4,750
Closing Date: March 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to West Virginia high school graduates who have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit the FAFSA on or before March 1, 2018.

SunTrust Scholarship Sweepstakes

Description: Sweepstakes is open to high school seniors and college undergraduates with permanent residence in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Students can enter online or by mail once during each two week drawing period.
