Description: Scholarship is open to women currently attending or will be attending a junior college, trade school, college or university in Oregon or Southwest Washington. Applicant must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a program in a transportation-related field such as transportation engineering, planning, finance, communications, operations, or logistics.

AANAPISI Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: November 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program in the 2019 Spring semester/quarter at specific institutions located in California, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Texas, Washington, Guam or American Samoa (see website for details).

Kids’ Chance of Washington Scholarship
Sponsor: Kids’ Chance of Washington

Closing Date: November 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to spouses or children of injured Washington workers whose injury, while at work in Washington State, resulted in a permanent inability to work or death. Scholarship is available for college undergraduates, technical school students, high school students participating in a Running Start program, or other accredited school.

Robert E. Thunen Memorial Scholarship
Sponsor: Illuminating Engineering Society (IES)
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: April 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to full-time students who desire to study illumination as a career. Applicant must be a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited four-year college or university located in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon or Washington.

Tanner Electric Cooperative Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who are a full-time dependents of a Tanner Electric Cooperative Member (Washington state).

Celebrate the West High School Art Competition
Sponsor: Western Governors’ Association
Amount: Up to $1,200
Closing Date: April 28, 2019
Description: Competition is open to high school students (grades 9-12) in public, private, charter, and alternative schools. Home-schooled students in that age group also may enter. Student must be in a school in a WGA member state: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Applicant must submit a two-dimensional art piece on what their state means to them.
