Kids’ Chance of Washington Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to spouses or children of injured Washington workers whose injury, while at work in Washington State, resulted in a permanent inability to work or death. Scholarship is available for college undergraduates, technical school students, high school students participating in a Running Start program, or other accredited school.

APIASF AANAPISI Scholarship Program

Amount: $2,500

Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program in the 2018 Spring semester/quarter at specific institutions located in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Texas, Washington, Guam or American Samoa (see website for details).

Pride Foundation Scholarships

Description: Applicant must be a resident of the Northwest (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington) and pursuing post-secondary education. Applicant must also be LGBTQ or a straight ally student leader.

Steven R. Nelson Native Educator Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Education Northwest
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: March 31, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students who reside in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington and are a member or descendent of a federally recognized, state recognized, or terminated American Indian tribe. Applicant must be accepted to or enrolled in a master’s program in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington and studying education policy, leadership, technical assistance, research, or a related field.

Robert E. Thunen Memorial Scholarship
Sponsor: Illuminating Engineering Society (IES)
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: April 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to full-time students who desire to study illumination as a career. Applicant must be a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited four-year college or university located in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon or Washington.
