Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduate students, graduate students, doctoral, post-doctoral, and/or continuing education, trade school and/or vocational school students who are members of Generations Federal Credit Union (Texas). ASIST – Dallas Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to non-traditional students who live within the boundaries of the Dallas Chapter who are past high school age and who are either entering college or already enrolled in college. Applicant must have financial need and preference will be given to those individuals with children residing in the home.

EWISP – Dallas Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors located within the boundaries of the Dallas Chapter. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have contributed to their community as demonstrated by their involvement in extracurricular activities, work, religious, or volunteer activities. Only one student per school is eligible to apply. Applicant must contact a school official and be selected to submit the EWISP scholarship application.

Susan Howard Community Service Award

Description: Scholarship is open to residents of Texas OR Great Britain who are enrolled in full-time education and are aged between 11 and 21 years of age. Applicant must be currently working on an inspiring community service project or have done so within the past 12 months.

Bernie Varnadore Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to outstanding high school seniors who at one time participated in a franchised Dixie Boys Baseball (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia), Inc. program and plan to pursue undergraduate studies at a college or university.

V&E Diversity Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are members of a racial/ethnic group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession (Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, or Multiracial/two or more races) and/or identify as a member of the LGBT community. Applicant must have U.S. citizenship, residency in Houston, Dallas, Austin or surrounding areas for continuous seven years, have an interest in the legal profession, and be in the top 20% of their class.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors within the Goodwill Industries of Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas, Inc. service area. HSC Scholarships

Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers

Description: Scholarship is open to prospective teachers who are currently in, or plan to enter, an eligible teacher preparation program at a Raising Texas Teachers partner school (see website for details). Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as undergraduate students. Applicant must run a campaign to spread seat belt awareness at school and throughout the community and locate, meet, and interview a family who has lost someone due to non-seatbelt use. In addition to the national scholarship, there is an scholarship open to only Texas residents.

Description: Scholarship is open to students facing economic hardship, such as change in family income/support, loss of job, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, pending eviction or home foreclosure, burglary or fire. Applicant must be a resident of California, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, or Texas and enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Description: Scholarship is open to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary need that, if not met, could result in an inability to complete classes or a degree program. Emergency financial need resulting from the following will qualify students from funding: change in family income/support, loss of job, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, pending eviction or home foreclosure, burglary, or fire. Applicant must be a resident of California, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Puerto Rico, or Texas.
