Empowering Families Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are interested in becoming a family law attorney. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA and be from Texas. Applicant must create a video on the following prompt: “How will you use your legal education to positively impact families facing divorce or other family law challenges?”
First Responders Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to aspiring first responders, first responders continuing their education, or anyone who has been majorly impacted by a first responder. Applicant must be currently enrolled in a college, university, graduate, or law school with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants can be from outside of Texas, but there will be preference given to students within McKinney, Denton, Frisco, Amarillo, and Sulphur Springs.

Description: Award is open to North Texas students in grades 8-12 who have a physical, emotional, or intellectual disability.
Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary need that, if not met, could result in an inability to complete classes or a degree program. Emergency financial need resulting from the following will qualify students from funding: change in family income/support, loss of job, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, pending eviction or home foreclosure, burglary, or fire. Applicant must be a resident of California, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Puerto Rico, or Texas.
