Description: Scholarship is open to students facing economic hardship, such as change in family income/support, loss of job, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, pending eviction or home foreclosure, burglary or fire. Applicant must be a resident of California, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, or Texas and enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest

Description: Scholarship contest is open to high school seniors and college students who live and attend school in a state where Regions does business (see website for specific states). Applicant must submit an essay on an African-American individual who inspires them because of their significant achievements in society.

Dick Laursen Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $500 per semester/$4,000 total maximum/4 year maximum

Description: Scholarships is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students. Applicant must be an agriculture major attending a Texas university or college on a full-time basis.

Sheriff’s Association of Texas Youth Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters, and grandchildren of sheriffs, former sheriffs, sheriff’s office employees or peace officers in the state of Texas who are currently enrolled in college.

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students in the state of Texas who are pursing a degree in Criminal Justice and a career in law enforcement.

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate Texas students who are passionate leaders and a pro-life college student.
