Description: Sweepstakes is open to high school seniors and college undergraduates with permanent residence in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Students can enter online or by mail once during each two week drawing period.

Hagan Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA and from a rural area (a county with less than 50,000 people). Applicant must live in an eligible state (see website for details – Middle America) and demonstrate financial need.

Stegall Charitable Educational Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students who are Tennessee residents. Applicant must have financial need. Preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate a willingness to serve the general public through past civic responsibilities, and secondly, to students who have expressed an intention to become an attorney.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who will or have graduated from a public, independent or homeschool association high school in 40 Middle Tennessee counties. Applicant must be pursuing a business or STEM approved degree at a four-year, non-profit college or university in the fall of 2018.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who live within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Applicant must have lost a parent to breast cancer or complications relating from the disease or have a parent who has survived breast cancer.

Princeton Prize in Race Relations

Ned McWherter Scholars Program

Description: Scholars program is open to Tennessee graduating high school seniors who have at least a 3.5 GPA and have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT (or concordant equivalent score on the SAT). Applicant must be planning to attend college in Tennessee.

Curwen-Guidry-Blackburn Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas. Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who attend a “Project Lifeline” high school in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia. Stop Texting & Driving Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors, and full-time college students. Applicant must submit a 30 to 60 second video that convinces the scholarship provider that the applicant will not text and drive. There are three scholarships available: one scholarship will be awarded to a student who lives anywhere in the United States, one scholarship to a currently enrolled student in Davidson County, Tennessee, and one scholarships for a current student in the State of Tennessee.

Description: Scholarship is open to college students who have sat for an actuarial exam and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Dependent Children Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are dependent children of Tennessee law enforcement officers, firemen, or an emergency medical service technicians who has been killed or totally and permanently disabled while performing duties within the scope of such employment. Applicant must be an incoming or current undergraduate student at a Tennessee institution of higher education.
