Tennessee Society of CPAs Educational and Memorial Foundation Scholarships
Sponsor: Tennessee Society of CPAs
Amount: Up to $2,500

Description: Scholarship is open to residents of Tennessee and attending a Tennessee college or university and majoring in accounting. Applicant must be attending college during the 2017-18 school year and have already completed introductory accounting courses.

American Jersey Cattle Association Scholarships
Sponsor: American Jersey Cattle Association
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: July 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to members (junior or Lifetime) of the American Jersey Cattle Association who will be enrolled in college during the 2017-2018 academic year. Applicant must show an interest and commitment to continued involvement in the Jersey dairy business. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to students in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Stegall Charitable Educational Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students who are Tennessee residents. Applicant must have financial need. Preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate a willingness to serve the general public through past civic responsibilities, and secondly, to students who have expressed an intention to become an attorney.

Dependent Children Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are dependent children of a Tennessee law enforcement officer, fireman, or an emergency medical service technician who has been killed or totally and permanently disabled while performing duties within the scope of such employment.

Tennessee HOPE Scholarship – Nontraditional
Sponsor: Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation
Amount: Up to $1,750
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to Tennessee residents who are 25 years of age or older. Applicant must be an entering freshman in an eligible postsecondary institution or have not been enrolled for at least two years after last attending any postsecondary institution. Applicant must have an adjusted gross income of $36,000 or less on their IRS tax form.

Stegall Charitable Educational Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholars program is open to Tennessee graduating high school seniors who have at least a 3.5 GPA and have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT (or concordant equivalent score on the SAT). Applicant must be planning to attend college in Tennessee.

Christa McAullife Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to rising college juniors enrolled full-time in a teacher education program in an accredited Tennessee postsecondary institution who have at least a 3.5 GPA.

Bird Dog Foundation College Scholarship Essay Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are preparing to enter freshman year of college or university. Applicant must reside in Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas and applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.

CASE Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Casualty Actuarial Society

Description: Scholarship is open to college students who have sat for an actuarial exam and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must attend a college or university in one of the following Southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.
