Scholarships for students Pennsylvania. Some scholarships specifically open to Pennsylvania students, and others give preference to students in Pennsylvania.

Apollo Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to third or four-year medical school students who agree to return to Somerset or Cambria Counties (Pennsylvania) to practice medicine after they have completed their training.

Estelle Martin Cartledge Memorial Fund Scholarship
Sponsor: Poise Foundation
Amount: Up to $1,300
Closing Date: September 30, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to high school graduates who have a strong academic record and are accepted or currently enrolled in a four-year institution of higher education. Applicant must have a sustained (one year or more) involvement in humanitarian service projects. Applicant must live in the Mon Valley, Pennsylvania (Rankin, Turtle Creek, Braddock, North Braddock, Homestead, Duquesne, Monongahela, and West Mifflin). Preference will be given to students who are African American and attend Morning Star Baptist Church.

Robert B. Pease Scholarship Fund

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 30, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students who reside in Allegheny County (Pennsylvania) and attend a two-year or four-year university. Preference is given to African-American students and those studying in the field of Engineering.

POISE General Scholarships

Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: September 30, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to residents in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania who are accepted or currently attending a two-year or four-year university, post secondary technical or trade school.

Pennsylvania Society Scholarship Program
Sponsor: The Pennsylvania Society | Maguire Foundation
Amount: Up to $8,000
Closing Date: November 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors at Pennsylvania secondary schools, including public, private, and home schooled students. Applicant must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited non-proprietary four-year college located within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have been an active participant in community and/or extracurricular activities, and demonstrate financial need.

Supply Chain Management Education Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: November 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students majoring in Supply Chain Management who are either permanent residents or students in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, or Illinois.

Marcena Lozano Donate Life Scholarship Fund
Sponsor: Marcena’s Miracles – The Marcena Lozano Donate Life Scholarship Fund
Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: December 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to organ transplant recipients who are between the ages of 17 and 26 and reside in New York or Pennsylvania. Applicant must be a current or incoming college student attending in the Spring.

Belin Arts Scholarship

Amount: Up to $12,000

Description: Scholarship is open to individuals with talent in painting, sculpture, photography, music, drama, dance, literature, or architecture. Preference will be given to residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Lou Manzione Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania who are registered with USA Hockey.
