Dushinske & Jamison Water Resources Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students in North Dakota. Preference is given to, but not limited to, students studying water-related fields and students whose families have taken an active role in North Dakota’s water resources management.

Edward Nesheim Memorial Scholarship
Sponsor: The American Legion Department of North Dakota
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: April 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are legal residents of North Dakota and a direct descendant (child, grandchild or great-grandchild) of a U.S. veteran who served honorably. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in some phase of Agriculture, Human Nutrition, or Medicine (Medical Dr., PA, Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Pharmacy or Chiropractic).

Hattie Tedrow Scholarship
Sponsor: The American Legion Department of North Dakota
Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: April 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of the state of North Dakota and a direct descendant (child, grandchild, etc.) of a veteran with honorable service in the U.S. military.

Local Impact Scholarship
Sponsor: Northern Seed Trade Association
Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: April 1, 2023
Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be attending an undergraduate or graduate degree program in the fall. Applicant must be majoring in a subject relevant to the seed industry. Preference is given to students in North Dakota and surround states.

Catholic United Financial Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to members of Catholic United for at least two years prior to application who are entering any year of their first degree or certificate program in Fall 2023.

Celebrate the West High School Art Competition
Sponsor: Western Governors’ Association
Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: April 30, 2023
Description: Competition is open to high school students (grades 9-12) in public, private, charter, and alternative schools. Home-schooled students in that age group also may enter. Student must be in a school in a WGA member state: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Applicant must submit a two-dimensional art piece on what their state means to them.

Northeastern Ohio Member Chapter Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors who will be enrolling in college for the fall semester, or a First, Second, or Third year student currently enrolled in a full-accredited college or university. Applicant must be members of the AIST Midwest Chapter (Northwestern Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa) or the dependent of a member of the AIST Midwest chapter.
