Scholarships for students Minnesota. Some scholarships specifically open to Minnesota students, and others give preference to students in Minnesota.

Richard and Louise Varco Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate, graduate or professional level study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Minnesota for the entire 2018-2019 academic year. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA OR be a worker displaced under extraordinary circumstances.

Bennett Clayton Foundation Scholarship Program

Closing Date: March 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and undergraduates who reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota who have been diagnosed as having Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).

Catch a Break! Scholarship

Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: March 15, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to incoming college freshmen who will be 21 years of age or younger when they enroll. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Minnesota resident attending a public college or university in Minnesota. Applicant must have faced challenges in their life and have a household income that shows significant stress/challenge in paying for college.

High School Senior Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into an agriculture or agriculture-related curriculum at a university, college or community college. Applicant must be a resident of Compeer Financial’s 144 county territory (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin).

William C. and Corinne J. Dietrich Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors attending a public high school in Minnesota.

Clean Air Choice Biodiesel Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Minnesota with plans to attend post-secondary education. Applicant must submit an essay or video on a given topic related to alternative fuel.

Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship

Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to Native American, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who are graduating high school seniors and live in a state serviced by BNSF (Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington). Applicant must be planning to study Business, Finance, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Education, Medicine, or Health Administration.

SFM Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa who are a dependent of a worker injured or killed in a work-related accident during the course and scope of employment in their state.

EMPOWER Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to ethnically diverse students who have been accepted to or enrolled in a post-high school program and planning to pursue a career in a medical or rehabilitation field. Applicant must be a resident of Minnesota or Western Wisconsin OR attending school in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin.

UNICO National Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who live in a state of an active UNICO Chapter. Most scholarships are open to students of Italian heritage, but there are some open to all ethnicities. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to Engineering, Fine Arts, Italian Studies, Medical, Nursing, and Science majors.
