Scholarships for students Maryland. Some scholarships specifically open to Maryland students, and others give preference to students in Maryland.

AAAEA – Capital Area Scholarship Program
Sponsor: The Arab American Association of Engineerings and Architects (AAAEA) – Capital Area
Amount: Up to $4,000
Closing Date: September 22, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to current student members of AAAEA – Capital Area or a child of a current member of the association. Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student currently studying in the field of engineering, architecture or computer science/information technology.

Youth Awards
Sponsor: Hispanic Heritage Foundation
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: October 2, 2017
Description: Award is open to Latino high school seniors who excel both inside and outside the classroom, who have at least a 3.0 GPA and are Permanent residents, DACA, U.S. Citizens, or eligible non-citizens. Applicants must be from the Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco/Bay Area, or Washington, DC areas.

Baltimore Student Law School Scholarship
Sponsor: Miller & Zois, LLC
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: December 15, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to first-year law students enrolled at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to students with a connection to the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to distracted driving.

CEMS Fund Scholarship
Sponsor: Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship Fund
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: February 25, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to current residents of the state of Maryland who are high school juniors or seniors or currently attending an accredited Maryland post-secondary school. Applicant must be the first person in his/her immediate family who will be attending a Maryland accredited post-secondary school and studying (or planning to study) in the medical field.
