Kentucky Scholarships

Scholarships for students Kentucky. Some scholarships specifically open to Kentucky students, and others give preference to students in Kentucky.

Hagan Scholarships
Sponsor: Hagan Scholarship Foundation
Amount: Up to $5,000 each semester
Closing Date: November 15, 2018
Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA and from a rural area (a county with less than 50,000 people). Applicant must live in an eligible state (see website for details – Middle America) and demonstrate financial need.

NEWH | Cincinnati Chapter Scholarship
Sponsor: NEWH: The Hospitality Industry Network – Cincinnati Chapter
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: November 16, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students attending an accredited college in West Ohio and Ohio. Applicant must have completed at least half the requirements for a degree and must be pursuing a career objective in the Hospitality industry (Hotel/Restaurant management, Culinary, Food Service, Architecture, Design, etc.)

Steckol and Stanley Awards
Sponsor: Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: December 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a speech-language pathology or audiology training program. Applicant must be a KSHA student member.

Curwen-Guidry-Blackburn Scholarship Fund
Sponsor: Southern Bowling Congress
Amount: $750
Closing Date: March 15, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas. Applicant must currently be bowling in a USBC-sanctioned league and have bowled for three out of four years in high school.

CASE Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Casualty Actuarial Society
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: May 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to college students who have sat for an actuarial exam and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must attend a college or university in one of the following Southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.
