Anthem Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to students in grades 8-10. Applicant must submit an essay that answers a given question related to the book. There is no citizenship requirements to apply. In addition to the general contest, there is a special regional contest for students in Chicagoland (Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin).

Personal Goals Scholarship

Closing Date: May 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students who attended high school or permanently reside in Jefferson County, Kentucky or Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Washington, Scott, or Jefferson County, Indiana. Applicant must submit an essay on where they see themselves in ten years.

Northwest Indiana Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to African-American high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are permanent residents of Lake, LaPorte, or Porter Counties in Indiana.

Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

Closing Date: May 15, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students worldwide. Applicant must submit an essay on a topic related to Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shurgged. In addition to the general contest, there is special regional contests for students in California, Chicagoland (Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin), and Colorado.

Community Involvement Scholarship Award

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students who attended high school or permanently reside in Jefferson County, Kentucky or Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Washington, Scott, or Jefferson County, Indiana. Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Kentucky and Indiana residents who are graduating high school seniors or current college students. Applicant must submit a short introduction and an essay on someone who has been influential to the them.

Fountainhead Essay Contest

Description: Contest is open to students who are in 11th or 12th grade who have read Ayn Rand’s “Fountainhead.” Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to “Fountainhead.” There is no citizenship requirement to participate. In addition to the general contest, there are special regional contests for students in Chicagoland (Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin) and Colorado.

NEWH | Chicago Chapter Scholarship

Closing Date: September 10, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students attending an accredited college in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or Wisconsin. Applicant must have completed at least half the requirements for a degree and must be pursuing a career objective in the Hospitality industry (Hotel/Restaurant management, Culinary, Food Service, Architecture, Design, etc.)
