Daniel Triano Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are registered with USA Hockey as both a player and an official who live in the Atlantic District.

Dunkin’ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program

Closing Date: April 15, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students with at least a 3.0 GPA and residents of specific counties in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania (see website for details).

QRCF Scholarships
Sponsor: Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF)
Amount: Up to $8,000 over four years
Closing Date: April 15, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who reside in the towns of Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville, Selbyville, Frankford, Dagsboro, and their surrounding rural areas (Delaware). Applicant must have at least a 2.8 GPA.

Adults with Autism Scholarship
Sponsor: Autism Delaware
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: April 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to Delaware resident students with autism spectrum disorder who have completed high school or earned a GED and possess the capacity to complete a post-secondary program. Applicant must have been accepted into a post-secondary program.

Autism Teacher Certification Scholarship

Closing Date: April 30, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to any current educator in a state of Delaware public or charter school who is currently working with students with autism spectrum disorder in an educational environment.

Fresh Start Scholarship
Sponsor: Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: May 15, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to females who are residents of Delaware or are currently employed in Delaware for at least the past 12 months. Applicant must be at least 20 years of age, taken at least a two year break in education, and is admitted to an accredited Delaware college in a two-year or four-year degree program at the undergraduate level.

UNICO National Scholarships

Closing Date: April 15, 2020extended to May 15, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who live in a state of an active UNICO Chapter. Most scholarships are open to students of Italian heritage, but there are some open to all ethnicities. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to Engineering, Fine Arts, Italian Studies, Medical, Nursing, and Science majors.

Jessica Beth Schwartz Scholarship
Sponsor: Gift of Life Donor Program

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who reside in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey or Delaware. Applicant must be an organ transplant recipient and be under the age of 25.

DE NAHRO Scholarship Assistance Program
Sponsor: National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), Delaware Chapter
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: June 1, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to Delaware high school seniors who live in affordable housing defined as Project Based Section 8, Rural Development Section 515, Housing Choice Voucher, Public Housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credit site, Habitat for Humanity Home, Self Help Homeownership Program or USDA Rural Development Homeownership Program.

Educational Benefits for Children of Deceased Veterans and Others
Sponsor: Delaware Department of Education
Amount: Tuition and fees at your college (see website for specific details)
Closing Date: Completed application is due 6-8 weeks before classes begin
Description: Program is open to residents of the state of Delaware between the ages of 16 and 24 years of age whose parent was a resident of Delaware at the time of death or declaration of mission in action or prisoner of war status.
