Healthcare Career Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students who are currently pursuing education for the following healthcare careers: Medical Technology/CLS/MLS, Nursing (BSN), Health Information Management, Rehabilitation Services (PT, OT, PTA, COTA, SP), Pharmacy, Cardiac Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, or Certified Medical Assistant. Applicant must reside in FHN’s service area (specific areas in Illinois).

HRI Scholarships
Sponsor: Horticultural Research Institute (HRI)
Amount: Up to $4,000
Closing Date: September 2, 2022
Description: Scholarships are open to students majoring in landscape, horticulture, or related majors. Students should visit website for specific requirements as the organization offers multiple scholarships with different requirements.

Crown Castle Opportunity Scholarship

Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: September 6, 2022
Description: Scholarship is open to African American/Black college students who exhibit determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Applicant must be a college junior and priority is given to applicants with majors that position them to apply to Crown Castle-led internship and rotational programs (accounting, business, computer science, engineering, finance, information technology, political science, and pre-law).

Kia America – UNCF STEAM Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate college students with at least a 3.0 GPA and unmet financial need. Applicant must be majoring in one of the following disciplines: Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Entertainment Arts, or Mathematics. Preference will be given to students who are permanent residents of California or Georgia.

Action for Inclusivity Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to Black/African American sophomore and junior students who are enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college, university, or community college. A segment of the scholarship is reserved for students pursuing agriculture. Another segment of the scholarship is reserved for students from New York State or the Sun Prairie region of Wisconsin with majors in computer science, management information systems, data and analytics, other engineering degrees, business management or students interested in a career in IT. And, another segment of the scholarship will be reserved for students from the Dallas, Atlanta, Sun Prairie, New York, and Chicago regions with majors in risk management, business, economics, pre-law, finance, insurance, math, statistics, data science, and actuarial science with an interest in insurance.

Description: Scholarship is open to African American students who are juniors (Class of 2024) enrolled at accredited four-year HBCUs. Applicant must be majoring in business, finance, or accounting, have at least a 3.0 GPA , and have demonstrated financial need.

Cameron Impact Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors (Class of 2023) who are planning to enroll in a full-time course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university. Applicant must maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted 3.7 GPA.

ExxonMobil Engineering Scholarship

Amount: Up to $20,000 over four years

Description: Scholarship is open to 2020 high school graduates who are Hispanic and accepted into and planning to attend a full-time program in engineering leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the U.S. Applicant must reside in certain cities and their surrounding cities in the states of California, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, as well as Puerto Rico (specific locations available on website).

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students. Applicant must submit an essay describing at least three steps that they plan to take in the next year to start a path towards having a career that they love.

Mexican-American Dream Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time students at four-year institutions or two-year community colleges who are considered undocumented or benefit from AB-540 or DACA. Applicant must be attending school in one of the following California counties: Los Angeles, Riverside, or Orange County.

Beat the Odds Scholarship Program

Amount: $4,000
Closing Date: September 13, 2022
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors enrolled in an Oregon public high school who will graduate in Summer 2023. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and have succeeded in spite of hardships such poverty, disability, homeless, or personal tragedy.

Leadership Excellence Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the United States. Description: Scholarship program is open to low-income high school students to enroll in college courses from Nebraska college or universities, either through dual-enrollment or early enrollment agreements with the institutions.
