ABFSE National Scholarship Program
Sponsor: American Board of Funeral Service Education
Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students who have completed at least one semester (or quarter) of study in a program in funeral service or mortuary science education accredited by the American mapleBoard of Funeral Service Education.

Apartment List Scholarship
Sponsor: Apartment List
Amount: $2,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age and attending an accredited university or college in the fall. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to “home.”

Beldon Scholarship
Sponsor: Beldon
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students seeking a degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to business.

DevelopIntelligence Scholarship for Promising Programmers
Sponsor: DevelopIntelligence
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college or university in the United States who have completed at least one computer science class with a grade of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Dr. Joseph and Sonya Landholm Scholarship
Sponsor: Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA)
Amount: Up to $4,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to veterinary students originally from Nebraska or are Nebraska licensed practitioners who are NVMA members.

FFDB Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Fantasy Football Draftboards
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students attending an accredited college for the fall semester of 2017. Student must maintain a GPA of 2.4 or higher and must have played fantasy football or know someone who has.

Future Mentors Scholarship
Sponsor: Justice Solutions Group
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to mentorship.

IOMOTC Scholarship
Sponsor: Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc.
Amount: Up to $300
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who reside in Illinois and whose mother or father is a parent of multiple birth children (twins, triplets, quads, or more) and is a current member of IOMOTC.

Jaime Horn Memorial Softball Scholarship
Sponsor: The Babe Ruth League
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to high school senior girls who played Babe Ruth League softball.

Jewish Family and Children’s Services Scholarships
Sponsor: Jewish Family and Children’s Services
Amount: Up to $6,000
Closing Date: September 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to Jewish college students who have legal and permanent residence in Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, or northern Santa Clara counties (California) for at least two years prior to submitting the application.
