Visual Arts Scholarships

Scholarships open to students interesting in and/or majoring in fields related to art and design, including art, architecture, graphic design, and photography.

Scott-McKenna Memorial Scholarship

Closing Date: May 30, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students with a career interest in the outdoors. Candidates with an interest in Natural Resources, Forestry, Rangeland Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Agriculture, or related fields are eligible for the scholarship. Photography and journalism majors, with a special interest in wildlife outdoor photography/journalism are also eligible.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are studying Art or Liberal Arts. Art students should submit a piece of art (painting, photograph, statue, song, animation, video, film, illustration, story, poem or any other type of art). Liberal art students should apply with a recent sample of their writing on any subject.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school students and current college students who are a member of a minority group that is underrepresented in the fields of fashion and/or entrepreneurship (I.e. Applicant must be planning to pursue a career in fashion and/or entrepreneurship.

Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and college freshman and sophomore students in the United States and Canada. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted and seeking a degree at a U.S. or Canadian university college or art school as a declared major in a visual arts program. Applicants must submit a portfolio of three to six images of artwork. Applicant must include a portfolio that includes three to six images of artwork on a flash drive.

Berrien Fragos Thorn Arts Scholarships for Migrant Farmworkers

Description: Scholarships are open to individuals 16 years of age or older who have a history of movement to obtain work in agriculture. Applicant must demonstrate an interest in pursuing further development of their talents.

Illustrators of the Future Contest

Description: Scholarship is open to students attending an accredited college in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or Wisconsin. Applicant must have completed at least half the requirements for a degree and must be pursuing a career objective in the Hospitality industry (Hotel/Restaurant management, Culinary, Food Service, Architecture, Design, etc.)
