Feeding Tomorrow Freshman Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who will be pursing an undergraduate degree in food science within an IFT-approved food science program.

Lamey Wellehan Maine Difference Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Maine high school seniors who will graduate in the spring and who will enter a Maine college in the fall OR a graduate of a Maine high school in one of the four years preceding the current year who will be enrolled in a Maine college in the fall. Applicant studies should be on the ecology and economics of Maine.

Scott-McKenna Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students with a career interest in the outdoors. Candidates with an interest in Natural Resources, Forestry, Rangeland Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Agriculture, or related fields are eligible for the scholarship. Photography and journalism majors, with a special interest in wildlife outdoor photography/journalism are also eligible.

Description: Scholarship is open to college juniors and seniors in the upcoming school year who are pursuing a poultry or related agricultural degree (Agricultural Business, Poultry, Science, Food Science, Animal Science, Food Marketing, Ag. Econ, and other related business and agricultural degrees).

Soil and Water Conservation Scholarship
Sponsor: Soil Science Society of America
Amount: $3,500
Closing Date: May 31, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students who are enrolled in a North American university. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a land grant university, or other universities or colleges have equivalent agricultural curriculum. Applicant must have career goals in soil and water conservation.

AFIO Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to current college (entering junior or senior year by the summer of 2019) or graduate students who have interest and career ambitions in national security.

Out to Innovate Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

Science Post Graduate Scholarship Fund
Sponsor: American Indian Graduate Center
Amount: Up to $30,000
Closing Date: June 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indiana trip or Alaska Native group or provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-fourth degree Indiana blood. Applicant must be (or will be) pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree as a full-time degree-seeking student an accredited graduate school in the United States. Exclusive consideration is paid to degree candidates in the Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

TEC Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who are/will be majoring in a technical degree, such as science, engineering, architecture, physics, computer science, and the like. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to evolving technology.

Ted Rolins Eco Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current undergraduate college students who are majoring (or plan to major) in a field related to sustainability.

Bonnie Strangio Education Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who have cystic fibrosis and whose service and commitment to the prevention and cure of CF is exemplary.

Father James B. Macelwane Annual Award in Meteorology
Sponsor: American Meteorological Society
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: June 7, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to current college students studying meteorology. Applicant must submit a paper on some phase of the atmospheric sciences, a letter of application, and a letter from the department head or faculty member.

API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships
