ABFSE Undergraduate Scholarship
Sponsor: American Board of Funeral Service Education
Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: September 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students who have completed at least one semester (or quarter) of study in a program in funeral service or mortuary science education accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education.

Marion Motley Scholarship
Sponsor: Cleveland Browns Foundation
Amount: $2,500 per year – renewable for four years
Closing Date: September 30, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors from Northwest Ohio who plan to major in areas that could lead to careers working in education or for a professional sports organization, such as but not limited to: accounting, business, communications, event management, exercise science, finance, graphic design, human resources, information technology, journalism, kinesiology, marketing/advertising, public relations, or sports management.

Homelight Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: November 15, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who are studying in fields related to home design (Architecture, Interior Design), Home Building (Construction, Urban Planning), Housing and Economic Studies (Sociology, Economics), and other related fields.

Second Career Scholarship
Sponsor: Selected Independent Funeral Homes Educational Trust
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: December 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time in a mortuary science program at an ABFSE accredited school in North America who is not related to an owner of a funeral home currently in operation.

Steckol and Stanley Awards
Sponsor: Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: December 1, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a speech-language pathology or audiology training program. Applicant must be a KSHA student member.
