BD Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current juniors and seniors who are enrolled full-time at any UNCF member institution, other HBCU, or any accredited four-year college or university. Applicant must major in one of the following academic disciplines/area of study: biomedical science, biology, life sciences, microbiology, global health, nursing, pharmacy, or science technology. Preference shall be given to students who are residents of the following states: New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, California, Indiana, Utah, Arizona, Texas, or Nebraska.

MHA of Greater Tarrant County Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who are residents of Tarrant County, Texas. Applicant must be enrolled in coursework and/or have a declared degree plan for the following disciplines: any kind of psychology, social work, psychiatry/mental/behavioral health, social and behavioral sciences, behavioral / cognitive neuroscience, mental health or rehabilitative counseling or nursing, cognitive development, etc. and have at least a 3.0 GPA. This scholarship is for spring courses.

Medical Malpractice Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students in the United States with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on the following prompt: “Why do you think it’s important to be a patient advocate in today’s healthcare industry? If applicable, describe a time when you or someone you know received poor medical care and what that experience taught you.”

Career Mobility Scholarships
Sponsor: Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission
Amount: Up to $5,000

Description: Scholarship is open to students actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services, accepted or enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree program in nursing, or hold current certification through NNCC.
