Lighting the Pathway to Faculty Careers for Natives in STEM

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars in a field within Biological Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Geosciences, Computer and Information Science and Engineering, STEM Education or Engineering. Applicant must be a current member of AISES, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and have an interest in becoming a faculty member at a college, university, or tribal college.

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Medical Science, Physical Sciences, Technology, Science, Engineering, or Natural Resources.

Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Native American, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who are graduating high school seniors and live in a state serviced by BNSF (Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington). Applicant must be planning to study Business, Finance, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Education, Medicine, or Health Administration.

ROTC Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) and Air Force ROTC full-time sophomore and junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a degree major that is related to the mission of the AFCEA educational Foundation (Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and other STEM related majors).

Description: Scholarship is open to students actively pursuing a graduate degree or credential/licensure for the purpose of teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) subjects at a U.S. school in grades K-12.

War Veterans Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel) of the Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom Operations who are currently enrolled and attending classes in an Undergraduate program part-time or full-time in an eligible STEM major degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.

Science Post Graduate Scholarship Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-fourth degree Indian blood. Applicant must be (or will be) pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree as a full-time degree-seeking student an accredited graduate school in the United States. Exclusive consideration is paid to degree candidates in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality, and other non-visible differences.

Engineering & Technology Student Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently working towards a degree in a field of engineering, technology and/or mathematics. This can also include Computer Science and Cybersecurity. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
