Microsoft disAbility Scholarship

Amount: $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total
Closing Date: March 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to current high school seniors living with a disAbility who plan to attend an undergraduate program following graduating. Applicant must plan to declare a major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field.

National Italian American Foundation Scholarships
Sponsor: The National Italian American Foundation
Amount: Up to $12,000
Closing Date: March 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, and legal students who will be enrolled in higher education for the Fall 2019 semester and have a GPA of at least 3.5. Applicant must have at least one ancestor who immigrated from Italy. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to specific majors and state residency.

Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship
Sponsor: Association of California Water Agencies
Amount: $10,000
Closing Date: March 1, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to students pursuing a graduate degree (Master’s, PhD, or Law School) in water law and policy or public administration with a demonstrated concentration in the field of water resources. Student must be enrolled full-time for the entire 2019-2020 academic year.

New Leader Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in one of the public universities in the California Bay Area who are studying social sciences, human services, public interest law, health-related fields, or public service.

TMCF | Sidney B. Williams Jr. Scholarship Intellectual Property Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students entering or attending law school in Fall 2019 or 2020 who show demonstrated commitment to developing a career in intellectual property law.

Eula Mae Jett Scholarship Plan

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors, current college students, and career change students who are legal residents of California and attending a school within the state of California. Applicant must plan on pursuing a career in the legal field.

George A. Strait Minority Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college graduates who are members of a minority group as defined by current U.S. government guidelines and are degree candidates in accredited library or law schools and who intend to have a career in law librarianship.

Description: Scholarship is open to female Alabama residents attending an Alabama law school.

Spence Reese Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to male students in their senior year of high school who are planning to pursue higher education in medicine, engineering, law, or political science. Finalists are required to attend a personal interview in San Diego, California.

V&E Diversity Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are members of a racial/ethnic group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession (Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, or Multiracial/two or more races) and/or identify as a member of the LGBT community. Applicant must have U.S. citizenship, residency in Houston, Dallas, Austin or surrounding areas for continuous seven years, have an interest in the legal profession, and be in the top 20% of their class.

George H. Nofer Scholarship for Law and Public Policy
Sponsor: The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell)
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: April 12, 2019
Description: Scholarship is open to full-time graduate students with a pre-lingual bilateral hearing loss in the moderately severe to profound range, using listening and spoken language as their primary method of communication. Application must be attending an accredited mainstream law schools or a master or doctoral program in public policy or public administration.

Emily M. Hewitt Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time in an accredited California post-secondary educational institution whose educational career goal coincides in communicating and interpreting nature’s wonder. Applicant must be pursuing degrees in environmental protection, forestry, wildlife and fisheries biology, parks and recreation, park management, environmental law and public policy, environmental art, or California history.
