Charles J. Colgan Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to well deserving Virginia residents who are high school seniors or current undergraduate students pursuing an aviation related career in an accredited institution.

Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship
Sponsor: National Air Transportation Association (NATA)
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: March 30, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a flight program at an accredited college or university with aspirations to become a professional pilot. Applicant must have a private pilot’s license and at least a 3.0 GPA.

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college students who plan to/are majoring in an aviation field.

GAMA Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are/will be enrolled in an aviation degree core program.

Tweet Coleman Aviation Scholarship
Sponsor: American Association of University Women (AAUW) Honolulu Branch
Amount: Varies
Closing Date: April 30, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to females who reside in Hawaii or are stationed with the military, who are college graduates or enrolled in a college or university in Hawaii at the time of application. Applicant must be working to obtain a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Certificate.

ATCA Scholarships
Sponsor: Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA)

Description: Scholarships are open to air traffic control and aviation science students. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to female students. There is also a scholarship open to children of air traffic control specialists -open to all majors.

CABAA Scholarship
Sponsor: Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (CABAA)
Amount: Up to $7,500
Closing Date: May 4, 2018
Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are studying aviation. Preference will be given to students from the Chicagoland/Illinois area.

Pioneers of Flight Scholarship
Sponsor: National Air Transportation Association (NATA)
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: December 28, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to college students in their sophomore or junior year who are enrolled in a full-time aviation degree program at an accredited four-year college or university. Applicant must have a least a 3.0 GPA and show an interest in pursuing a career in general aviation.
