Wings Over Houston Airshow Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Texas students who have completed at least two academic years of full-time college work and who are working towards a career that is associated with aviation or aerospace.

NBAA Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students with an interest in aviation. Multiple scholarships available.

Calvin L. Carrithers Aviation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in an aviation program at a fully accredited university. Applicant must be willing to write a 200-500 word blog post a minimum of once a week throughout the school year.

NGPA Scholarships
Sponsor: National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA)
Amount: Up to $7,000
Closing Date: August 31, 2018
Description: Scholarships are open to students who are seeking to develop professional aviation skills. While students do not have to be LGBT, the applicant should provide evidence of his or her contribution to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Pioneers of Flight Scholarship
Sponsor: National Air Transportation Association (NATA)
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: December 28, 2018
Description: Scholarship is open to college students in their sophomore or junior year who are enrolled in a full-time aviation degree program at an accredited four-year college or university. Applicant must have a least a 3.0 GPA and show an interest in pursuing a career in general aviation.
