Ag Educational Major Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to female rising college seniors who are Agriculture Education majors and who intend to become an agriculture instructor. Applicant must be enrolled in an Illinois college or university.

Agent of Change Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to females who have participated in any Women Changing the Face of Agriculture conference. Applicant must be enrolled in an Illinois college or university in the fall of 2017.

American Indian College Fund Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are open to American Indian/Alaska Native students. Scholarships are open to undergraduate or graduate students attending tribal colleges, as well as students attending any other accredited public and non-profit private college all across the United States. There are MANY scholarships available open to all American Indian/Alaska Native students. There are also specific scholarships for students majoring Agriculture.

NPFDA Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to college juniors and seniors in the upcoming school year who are pursuing a poultry or related agricultural degree (Agricultural Business, Poultry, Science, Food Science, Animal Science, Food Marketing, Ag. Sheep Heritage Foundation Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students involved in sheep and/or wool research in such areas as animal science, agriculture economics or veterinary medicine.

Berrien Fragos Thorn Arts Scholarships for Migrant Farmworkers

Description: Scholarships are open to individuals 16 years of age or older who have a history of movement to obtain work in agriculture. Applicant must demonstrate an interest in pursuing further development of their talents.

Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship
Sponsor: American Agri-Women
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: June 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to any farm, ranch or agribusiness woman or her daughter who are graduating high school seniors, current college students, and returning students who pursuing accredited courses in agriculture leadership, communications, rural sociology, medicine, or any other courses directly related to agriculture.

Forest Resources Scholarship for College Students

Description: Scholarship is open to students at a two or four-year college or university who are majoring in forest management, forest products, or a closely related field. Applicant must have graduated from a high school or lived in of of the following counties in Pennsylvania: Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wyoming, Pike, Wayne, Lackawanna, and Luzerne.

NTHA Community Forest Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors in specific counties in Pennsylvania who have been accepted to a Community/Urban Forestry, Arboriculture, or related field of study.

TMCF | USDA-NRCS Scholarship Program
Sponsor: Thurgood Marshall College Fund | United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service
Amount: Up to $15,000
Closing Date: June 4, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled at one of TMCF’s 47 member schools who will be classified as a junior for the 2017-2018 academic year. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA, have demonstrated leadership qualities and community service experience, and be majoring in agriculture, food sciences, environmental studies, hydrology, veterinary science, human resources, accounting , or other related fields.

NAFB Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarships are open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students for the Fall 2017 semester who are enrolled in or transferring to an agricultural communications curriculum.
