Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming college freshmen of Filipino heritage (at least 50%) who will be majoring in engineering, mathematics, computer science, environmental or physical science. Applicant must be a permanent resident of California.

Hsiao Memorial Social Sciences Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students attending a U.S. based college or university in 2026-2027 with preference given to research/study topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities. Preference for Asian heritage, but it is not required.

Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate college students who has done community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian American, immigrant, gay and lesbian and/or other progressive causes. Applicant or parents must be current or former employee at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine resident.

Wong: Helen and L.S. Wong Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Asian heritage (at least 50%) incoming and current college students from the Fairfield-Suisun communities (California). Applicant must have a least a 2.8 GPA.

UNCF STEM Scholars Program

Closing Date: April 15, 2026
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who identify as African-American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific Islander American, American Indian or Alaskan Native. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and plan to study a STEM field in college, including Biological/life sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Sciences, Engineering, or Mathematics. Applicant must have demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the student’s college or university.

Cox Enterprises Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to underrepresented minority students who are in good academic and personal standing at any UNCF member institution. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA, and preference will be given to applicants pursuing majors in the areas of STEM.
