American Association of Japanese University Women Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to female students enrolled in an accredited California college or university who have junior, senior, or graduate standing in the school year 2018-2019. Applicant must demonstrate a desire and intent to fulfill a leadership role in their chosen field of study and be a contributor to U.S.-Japan relations and cultural exchanges.

Surety Foundation Minority Internship & Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students at accredited four-year educational institutions who are U.S. citizens. Ideally, applicant should be a declared accounting, business/finance or insurance/risk management major and applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Description: Scholarship is open to college women (*or gender non-conforming individuals) of color who are actively working to change the world. Applicant must be currently enrolled or will begin college/university in the spring semester of 2019. Applicant must submit an essay or video sharing on how they are going to change the world. Generation Google Scholarship For Current University Students

Sports Task Force/Al Young Sports Journalism Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Asian American students who are AAJA student members. Applicant must demonstrate journalistic excellence and a strong interest in pursuing sports journalism as a career. Predoctoral Fellowship

Description: Fellowship is open to all citizens, U. S. nationals, and permanent residents of the United States, as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the DACA program. Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible research-based program leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree at a non-proprietary U.S. institution of higher education. Applicant must be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. Membership in one or more of the following groups whose underrepresentation in the American professoriate will be considered a positive factor when choosing candidates: Alaskan Natives, Black/African-Americans, Mexican Americans/Chicanas/Chicanos, Native American Indians, Native Pacific Islanders, and Puerto Ricans.

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Description: Scholarships are open to women who are pursuing Accounting degrees at the undergraduate level. In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships open to students who attend school in the state of Washington, women returning to school after raising children, and minority students.
