Hsiao Memorial Social Sciences Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students attending a U.S. based college or university in 2017-2018 with preference given to research/study topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities. Preference for Asian heritage, but it is not required.

AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality, and other non-visible differences.

Annual Minority Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to minority students who are currently attending an accredited technical school, community college, college, or university and have completed at least one semester in good standing. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to cultural diversity.

Description: Scholarship is open to Bay Area students who will be enrolled at an accredited, not-for-profit institution in the fall. Applicant must either be a single parent or a low-income minority student.

GAPA Foundation Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college students who express activism in the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) and/or lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities; however, applicants do not need to identify as either to apply. Preference will be given to those who identify as both API and LGBTQ.

Applicant must be planning to pursue a career in fashion and/or entrepreneurship.

Asian Heritage High School Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to current Massachusetts high school students who are accepted and will be attending their first year of undergraduate study in the fall of the application year. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be of Asian heritage with at least one parent of Asian ancestry.

Best & The Brightest Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens or students who currently have AB 540 status. Application opportunity targets, but is not limited to the following ethnic groups: African American, Asian Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Indian/Native American. Applicant must be a full-time college student (minimum Sophomore standing) and pursuing a career in a public service related field.

Hana Lima Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students of Native Hawaiian Ancestry who are residents of the State of Hawaii and enrolled at least half-time in a vocational degree or certificate program in one of the approved educational institutions in Hawaii listed on the application. Preference will be given to non-traditional students: single parents, disabled (meets ADA definition), houseless, sole-income providers, previously incarcerated and wards of the court.

Paul Hastings Diversity Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to 2L law students enrolled full-time at an ABA-accredited law school. Recipient of scholarship will receive a paid 2L summer associate position as well as the scholarship.
