LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and AB-540/DACA recipients who are a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaska Native. Applicant must be a full-time student at a four-year accredited institution in the U.S. with at least a 3.0 GPA and majoring in a field of study that has an emphasis on advertising, marketing or public relations.

Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students studying textile and/or fashion-related programs. In addition to the general scholarship and scholarships for specific institutions (see website for details), there are scholarships open specifically to Indian students and students from California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

Distinguished Raven FAC Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to descendants and legal wards of any Lao or Hmong individual who served in the Royal Laotian Military or Hmong forces in defense of the Kingdom of Laos between 1960 and 1975. Applicant must also be a high school senior or graduate, and must be enrolled or actively seeking to enroll full-time in the coming academic year in an undergraduate program at an accredited college.

Applicant must be pursuing a BSN and self-identify as a student from an underrepresented background.

UNCF STEM Scholars Program

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who identify as African-American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific Islander American, American Indian or Alaskan Native. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and plan to study a STEM field in college, including Biological/life sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Sciences, Engineering, or Mathematics. Applicant must have demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the student’s college or university.
