Blanche Ford Endowment Scholarship
Sponsor: UNCF | Blance Ford Endowment Scholarship Fund
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: May 29, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to college sophomores enrolled full-time at one of the 37 UNCF member institutions beginning fall 2017. Applicant must be in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA and have unmet financial need as determined by the financial aid office at their college or university. Applicant must also have evidence of community service commitment/involvement.

Dr. Dan J. and Patricia S. Pickard Scholarship
Sponsor: The Dallas Foundation
Amount: At Least $1,000
Closing Date: May 31, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to African-American male students graduating high school in Dallas County, Texas. Applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA and preference will be given to those who can demonstrate financial need.

Kay Longcope Scholarship Award
Sponsor: National Lesbian & Gay Journalist Association (NLGJA)
Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: May 31, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to LGBT individuals of color planning to pursue a career in journalism and are able to demonstrate their passion and commitment to the profession.

1L Diversity Scholarship for Future Leaders
Sponsor: California Bar Foundation
Amount: $7,700
Closing Date: June 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to diverse law students who are about to start law school in California. Diversity includes a broad array of backgrounds and life experiences, including students from groups or with skills or attributes that are underrepresented in the legal profession, and specifically inducing students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Clay Ford Scholarship
Sponsor: Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation
Amount: Up to $6,000
Closing Date: June 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to minority students who have completed 120 credit hours from an accredited institution in Florida and will remain in school for the fifth year to obtain a CPA license.

MBC-LEO Book Scholarship Award
Sponsor: Michigan Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (MBC-LEO)
Amount: $500
Closing Date: June 1, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to Michigan high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college or university and must be a college freshman or sophomore by the upcoming fall.

NBMOA Hospitality Scholars Program
Sponsor: National Black McDonald’s Owners Association and McDonald’s USA
Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: May 26, 2017extended to June 2, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens majoring in restaurant/hotel/hospitality management, accounting, business or marketing as full-time students at an accredited HBCU. Applicant must be a currently enrolled college freshmen, sophomores, or junior with at least a 2.8 GPA.
