The Music Center Spotlight Program

Amount: Up to $5,000
Closing Date: October 18, 2021
Description: Program is open to Southern California high school students who have talent in Acting, Non-Classical Voice, Classical Voice, Non-Classical Dance, Ballet, Jazz Instrumental and Classical Instrumental. Applicant must submit an audition video. Each category will be limited to 400 applicants, so get your application in early!

Create Real Impact Contest
Sponsor: Impact Teen Drivers
Amount: Up to $1,500
Closing Date: November 3, 2021
Description: Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia between the ages of 14 and 22 years. Applicant must create an original work showcasing their idea for a solution or strategy to fix the very real problem of reckless and distracted driving.

Jon Borowicz Scholarship
Sponsor: Vermont Philharmonic
Amount: $500
Closing Date: November 6, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are Vermont residents and participate weekly in Vermont music programs for youth.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
Sponsor: From the Top
Amount: Up to $10,000
Closing Date: December 3, 2021
Description: Award is open to classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 and 18 who have not yet entered college during the 2021-2022 academic year. This is the deadline for high school seniors only. Younger students may still apply. Deadline II is January 7, 2022, and Deadline III is March 18, 2022.
