YoungArts Competition

Description: Competition is open to students between the ages of 15 and 18 who have talent in visual, literary, design or performing arts. There is a $35 application fee, but it can be waived if you meet requirements.

The Music Center Spotlight Program
Sponsor: The Music Center

Closing Date: October 12, 2026
Description: Program is open to Southern California high school students who have talent in Acting, Non-Classical Voice, Classical Voice, Non-Classical Dance, Ballet, Jazz Instrumental and Classical Instrumental. Applicant must submit an audition video.

Marching Band Scholarships

Amount: Up to $2,000
Closing Date: October 21, 2026
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who participate in marching band. Applicant must be nominated by the directors of bands performing at a Bands of America Regional, Super Regional, or Grand National Championship.

TMEA Scholarship
Sponsor: Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA)
Amount: Up to $3,000
Closing Date: October 30, 2026
Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are/will be attending a Texas college or university and majoring in a music degree program leading to Texas certification with music as their primary teaching field.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award

Description: Award is open to classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 and 18 who have not yet entered college during the 2026-2027 academic year.
